William Nelson Sachs Memorial Scholarship

Aaron Sachs & Associates, P.C. is proud to host the annual William Nelson Sachs Memorial Scholarship in honor of the late Reverend William Nelson Sachs, who was the father of Attorney Aaron Sachs and a recognized pillar in his communities. The scholarship program benefits Evangel University, a comprehensive Christian university that is committed to excellence in educating and equipping students to become Spirit-empowered servants of God who impact the Church and society globally.

As of 2023, the scholarship endowment has reached nearly $97,000. The scholarship is awarded once a year and split between two semesters. Evangel University has awarded the scholarship to dozens of students since 2015, giving hard-working students a chance to excel in their studies, so they can go out into the world and start making positive differences.

All students complete a Scholarship Profile Application each year to receive institutional, private, and endowed scholarships. Students are matched to individual scholarships based on the scholarship criteria, including the William Nelson Sachs Memorial Scholarship.

Criteria for the William Nelson Sachs Memorial Scholarship are:

• 3.2 GPA or higher;
• Preaching Major in the Theology and Global Church Ministries Department; and,
• Student is preparing for the ministry.
