This year, the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in Springfield, Missouri, will feature the trophy from the Big Game! The following is a comprehensive guide to this unique event slated for Friday, August 11, 2023.

The Chiefs Champions Tour Arrives in Springfield

2:00 PM will mark the arrival and the start of an unforgettable day. The much-anticipated Chiefs Champions Kingdom Cruiser will roll into town setting the stage for an array of exclusive events, from trophy viewings, appearances by KC Wolf, cheerleaders and others and ending with a celebration rally on the Aaron Sachs Stage in Motorcycle Village. The day promises an array of unique experiences you won't want to miss.

Public Access and Performances

At 3:30 PM, the Expo's main doors open to the public, granting access to the Upper and Lower lobbies, restrooms, and exhibition areas. However, the main draw—the public viewing of the trophy—will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Attendees can enjoy performances by the cheerleaders and drumline every half hour, interspersed with photo opportunities. This event will continue for two hours, offering plenty of chances for attendees to witness the trophy and enjoy the high-energy performances.

Parade and Celebration Rally on the Aaron Sachs Stage

The fun doesn't stop there. At 6:00 PM, the bus and entourage will leave the facility, lining up alongside the Mayor’s 57 Chevy, ready to join the parade. The Chiefs Champions Kingdom Cruiser, cheerleaders, KC Wolf, and drumline will all feature prominently in this festive procession of classic cars and motorcycles.

The culmination of the day's events is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Motorcycle Village, where the trophy, cheerleaders, KC Wolf, and drumline will perform once again on the Aaron Sachs Stage, rounding off an eventful day in spectacular style. Remember to wear red to support your team.

Concert Line Up: Singer from the band Boston

Immediately following the rally, stay for the lineup of bands that evening on the Aaron Sachs stage. The evening headliner is Tommy DeCarlo, the singer from the band Boston performing with Six Wire. The opening band is well known in the area and is Machine Gun Symphony taking the stage at 7 pm.
